This is a 5-day training course aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills needed to successfully implement a Medical Devices Quality Management System based on ISO 13485:2016. The 5th day is reserved for the Assessment of Learning. Learners will get Certificates of Competency on passing Assessment.

The Internal Auditor training course aims to develop the necessary expertise that you need to perform a Medical Devices Quality Management System internal audit by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures, and techniques. During this training course, you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to plan and carry out internal audits in compliance with ISO 19011. We will use practical exercises that will assist you to master audit techniques and become competent to manage an audit program and communicate with auditees. This course does not detail the requirements of ISO 13485:2016 so some previous knowledge is required.

ISO 9004:2018, “Quality management – Quality of an organization – Guidance to achieve sustained success”, gives guidelines for enhancing an organization’s ability to achieve sustained success. This guidance is consistent with the quality management principles given in ISO 9001:2015. ISO 9004:2018 is applicable to any organization, regardless of its size, type, and activity.

A National Certificate in Quality Management (NQF Level 5) is awarded to a Candidate who attend a total of 5 modules and who successfully complete individual and group assignment and assessments. This course is targeted at junior staff members and their acquisition of the Quality management knowledge and skills from this course could lead to enhanced appreciation of Quality, implementation of Quality Management System or proper maintenance of QMS in an Organisation.
